Key Responsibilities
Working with key marketing, sales and bid stakeholders to tease out key elements of the project brief
Attending and proactively scheduling stakeholder meetings/calls to discuss expectations and desired outcomes of design
Stakeholder expectation setting in line with your project objectives
Using industry software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, AfterEffect and Illustrator to create visual designs

Experience/ Skills

Your focus: As Lecturer, you will be responsible for our students’ progression and academic achievement up to level 7. Planning, preparing, teaching modules both online and in the classroom using our innovative delivery methods and cutting edge curriculum. Providing guidance and support to our student ….your knowledge, powering each students potential.
Bring your experience: Applicants should have suitable and relative experience in teaching Management and Financial Accounting as well as a variety of accounting and finance related subjects and must hold an Accounting Professional Qualification or an equivalent in related subject areas. A teaching qualification and HEA membership would be distinct advantageous.

As an experienced Higher Education Lecturer and/or industry practitioner with a strong passion for education, you will contribute to the progression and academic achievement of our learners through sessional delivery of live-online day-block workshops, marking, content development, and where appropriate, project supervision. This may vary term-on-term as demand changes.
Your focus:
Experience of teaching and marking in more than one of the topics listed below
Relevant postgraduate qualifications
Recognised IT qualifications OR substantial professional experience covering more than one of the topics listed below
HEA membership – desirable
Lecturing experience in the HE sector and/or experience of corporate technical training

Are you an experienced FE or HE Lecturer in Specific Learning Differences, looking for a permanent role within a dynamic organisation where you can be proud and feel rewarded watching our students succeed?

Your focus: As Lecturer, will be working within the Academic Community of Excellence (ACE) team to provide specialist study skills support to learners with a range of neurodiverse profiles. These may include dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, attention deficit disorder or are on the autistic spectrum as well as other possible disabilities such as mental health issues.
You will be delivering effective online & F2F teaching, learning and support to learners enabling them to achieve their aspirations and goals. This will involve evidencing progression against targets set in negotiation with the learner to meet, and continue to meet, their individual needs…… your knowledge, powering each students potential.
Please note that some travel may be required. Mainly Monday – Friday with some flexibility outside of 9am-5.30pm would be ideal
Role Overview
Support and teach study skills strategies to learners with SpLDs on a wide range of programmes and subject areas
Deliver effective and engaging teaching, learning and support to meet the needs of the learner with SpLDs and to develop their skills enabling them to take responsibility for their own learning
Plan and deliver tutorials and drop-in sessions, using appropriate multi-sensory strategies to facilitate independent learning and tailored support (both virtual and face to face)
Deliver learning and evidence progression to meet the targets set for the learner to enable learners to meet or exceed their goals
Create individual support plans tailored to learner’s individual needs considering results of initial & diagnostic assessments
Regularly review individual support plans with students to ensure needs are still being met and adapt accordingly
Complete detailed documentation to evidence the need for Learning Support Funding
Bring your experience: Applicants will hold a degree or equivalent, relevant teaching qualification, OCR qualification or equivalent in SpLD support at Level 7 and hold and maintain a membership of a DSA-QAG’s recognised professional body such as PATOSS, BDA, ADSHE or Dyslexia Guild (desirable)
