The Role As People Services (HR) Advisor you will support managers to provide a commercially focused People Advisory Service which drives employee engagement, development, productivity and retention, whilst managing employment risks Key Responsibilities Work with line managers to proactively manage all employee issues such as performance, grievances, conduct and capability including long term sickness engaging with external legal partners Support the Senior People Partners to manage the people aspects of organisational change e.g., restructures and TUPE activities Provide subject matter expertise in relation to right to work, immigration and visas in conjunction with our external legal advisers Contribute to the review and development of People policies and procedures in accordance with the employment law framework and support the implementation process across the business. Skills / Experience Required Significant experience of handling employee relations cases through to ET (employment tribunals) , in a performance driven environment Ability to identify wider employment related issues at an operational level and share information through reporting to enable wider People Team to work on a range of business focused solutions Ability to pro-actively ensure line managers take responsibility for outcomes consistently and remain results focused Experience of working across different business areas and managing multiple stakeholders What QA can offer you? About our Job With our continued growth, we have a great opportunity for an experienced recruiter to join our amazing Talent Acquisition team as a Candidate Attraction Recruiter. We’re part of the People (HR) Team, are headquartered in Slough and offer hybrid working. You’ll be aligned to our HE (Higher Education) business, where we partner with selected universities across the UK, and you will play a key role in securing great lecturers to ensure we continue to deliver fantastic results. About You You’ll have proven experience as a Recruiter / Resourcer, delivering a quality hires (in a fast paced environment) and will be comfortable working with both candidates and hiring managers at all levels. You’ll be highly experienced in sourcing and identifying candidates who are a great fit for the business, using a combination of; job boards, social media, referrals and talent pools. We’re in a competitive market so it’s vital that you understand QA, what we can offer and why joining us is a great opportunity for the candidate. Essential Experience: Candidate Identification - identify and attract the best candidates, engage with and manage them through the application process. Talent Pooling - engage great candidates and convert them from passive to active.
