  • Sales Ledger Administrator Birmingham The role: QA currently has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Sales Ledger Administrator to join a well established team in the Birmingham office. The overall purpose of the role is managing student refund applications, ensuring a positive student experience and compliance with internal and external policies and regulations. Responsibilities: • End to end ownership of the student refunds process – from receipt of the refund application to the payment proposal. • Liaising with students to understand their circumstances and ensure timely payment of valid claims in compliance with money laundering and associated regulation. • Liaising with recruitment, operations and admissions teams to validate student claims. • Ensuring student refunds are compliant with each partner University’s policy and safeguarding QAHE income where student circumstances change. • Support the wider credit control team in communications with students, bank reconciliations, ledger accounting and other data analysis. • Working within set SLAs and escalating to line manager where these are threatened. • Bank Postings responsibilities during busy periods to help other team members to meets SLAs. About you: • Understanding of Finance Function within a business. • Good credit control experience. • Ideally a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. • High standard of literacy and numeracy • Methodical and accurate with a proven ability to focus on detail. • Proven high level communication skills • Experience of using CRM and accounting database desirable. • Understanding of Microsoft office systems and basic level competencies • Database management experience desirable. About our role:  As Disability Advisor you will support the development and delivery of services related to inclusive practice, and disability-related support for our degree apprenticeship programmes, and our undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications. Here’s what’s involved: Meeting with a high volume of students to review and discuss reasonable adjustments (such as additional exam arrangements) and following pre-determined processes to administer follow-up and communication with relevant staff Establishing and developing support for students in using assistive technology and helping to develop an Assistive Technology suite Working as part of a team to identify, develop and promote new initiatives to support students with additional learning needs Supporting students with their applications for Disabled Students Allowance Supporting the administration of learning support funding claims for Degree apprenticeships Developing links with the faculties across the University to promote inclusive learning and teaching Bring your experience: You will have experience of providing expert one-to-one advice to disabled students or students with complex needs, including multi-agency liaison (essential) Proven track record of supporting individuals in crisis (essential) Experience in working in Higher Education (desirable) You will have a proven track record of developing and/or implementing inclusive policy and practice in an organisational context (desirable) Practical working knowledge of the Equality Act 2010 in relation to all protected characteristics and a sound grasp of the legal aspects of supporting disabled students Understanding of the SEND Code of Practice 2015 Level 7 qualification in Learning Difficulties and Disabilities (ideally) A working knowledge of assistive technology (e.g. mind mapping software) and its application to study is desirable.   A little more about QA: Students preparing for undergraduate study.   • Senior Client Relationship Manager Location: Birmingham/flexible The role: Due to continued success, QA currently require a Senior Client Relationship / Account Manager to join the major accounts team. Your primary focus is to develop new and grow existing customer/partner relationships to deliver against specific, measurable targets. As a Senior Account Manager, you will also be required mentor new and existing team members and act as a ‘go to person’ for basic sales related queries.
