Lecturer in Computer Science – Software Engineering, Undergraduate &/or Masters Level

ONLINE/Face-to-Face delivery, immediate start, fulltime and permanent

About our role: At QA we work with industry leading clients to deliver innovative degree apprenticeship programmes across a range of fields, including BSc (Hons) Digital & Technology Solutions, MSc Digital and Technology Solutions Specialist Degree Apprenticeships, BSc Cyber Security Technical Professional, BSc Project Management, and BSc Digital User Experience programmes. 

As an experienced Higher Education Lecturer and/or industry practitioner with a strong passion for education, you will contribute to the progression and academic achievement of our learners through sessional delivery of workshops, marking, content development, module leadership, and where appropriate, project supervision.  This may vary term-on-term as demand changes.

Your focus:

Experience of teaching and marking in more than one of the topics listed below

Relevant postgraduate qualifications

Recognised IT qualifications OR substantial professional experience covering more than one of the topics listed below

HEA membership – desirable  

Lecturing experience in the HE sector and/or experience of corporate technical training

Experienced in online delivery methods essential

Experience of working with work-based learners

 

A little travel may be required.

 

Technical areas of interest include:

o   Programming for Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning

o   Digital User Experience

o   Web Application Security/Development

o   Test Driven Development

o   Agile Performance Testing

o   Solution/Enterprise Architectures
